We examine how the manufacturer’s internal sourcing capability affects the supplier’s incentive to engage in exclusive selling with the dependent manufacturer (who would otherwise be excluded from the market) and the manufacturer’s own make-or-buy decision. We also study a setting in which the independent manufacturer has the ability to improve its internal sourcing capability via costly investment. In that context, we examine the effects of mandatory exclusion, arising from government-imposed regulations, on all parties’ decisions and profitability as well as on consumer welfare. 講座專家簡(jiǎn)介: 關(guān)旭,華中科技大學(xué)bwin必贏唯一官網(wǎng)教授,博士生導(dǎo)師。2013年畢業(yè)于華中科技大學(xué)、獲得管理科學(xué)與工程博士學(xué)位;2007年畢業(yè)于華中科技大學(xué)bwin必贏唯一官網(wǎng),獲得管理學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位。主要研究方向?yàn)檫\(yùn)營(yíng)與供應(yīng)鏈管理、不對(duì)稱信息、信息獲取與披露。近年來(lái)在Production and Operations Management (6篇), Journal of Retailing, Naval Research Logistics, Decision Sciences, 管理科學(xué)學(xué)報(bào),系統(tǒng)工程理論與實(shí)踐,中國(guó)管理科學(xué)等國(guó)內(nèi)外權(quán)威學(xué)術(shù)期刊發(fā)表論文60余篇。主持包括國(guó)家自科優(yōu)秀青年科學(xué)基金,NFSC-RGC聯(lián)合基金,自科面上與青年基金;教育部人文社科規(guī)劃與青年基金;博士后特別資助和面上基金等多項(xiàng)科研基金項(xiàng)目。擔(dān)任Management Science, Production and Operations Management等國(guó)際權(quán)威學(xué)術(shù)期刊審稿人。
